Fermentation takes place in 8,000-litre oak vats, subjecting the grapes to a long, gentle maceration. After racking, the wine is taken to the barrel, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation. Aged for approximately 18 months in new French oak barrels. Aged for approximately 25 months in new French oak.
